Please join Kate Robinson (Virtual Campus) and Melis Kural (The Teaching and Creativity Center) for the second Conversation Series session of the year, centered on our annual theme, Joy, Play, and Creativity. The session will take place on October 13, 2026, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m, with the option to participate via Zoom.
This interactive session will explore instructional strategies for online teaching environments, including both synchronous and asynchronous classes. Drawing inspiration from the TCC's annual theme book, The Joyful Online Teacher: Finding Our Fizz in Asynchronous Classes by Flower Darby, the presenters will reflect on ways to cultivate joy in teaching, build meaningful connections with learners, and support student growth and engagement.
Participants will have opportunities for conversation, reflection, and the exchange of ideas as we explore practical approaches to creating more engaging, joyful, and refreshing online learning experiences.
We hope you will join us for this meaningful and collaborative discussion.
